  • Betulia, Antioquia: Sitting at a staggering 1,630 to 2,000 meters above sea level , this farm benefits from a dramatic altitude difference that stresses the coffee cherries just enough to develop intense, complex sugars. The farm itself is named after the crystal-clear stream that runs through its steep slopes.

A Half-Century of Heritage

Coffee farming at La Clarita is a multi-generational craft. Hector took the reins 20 years ago, inheriting not just the land from his father, but a deep respect for the surrounding environment. The success of this cup is driven by an incredibly stable, experienced team of workers and the extreme altitude difference across the farm.

Beyond the Bean

Quality requires harmony with the land. Of La Clarita's 95 hectares, 65 are permanently dedicated to native trees, pines, and eucalyptus to fiercely protect the local watersheds. The coffee is processed using precise 3-day fermentation and specialized aguamiel filtration tanks to ensure zero environmental runoff.
